About Tavia
Tavia is a shy, playful girl that loves rubbing up against your legs and rolling onto her back for a belly rub once she trusts you. She's a sweet-natured girl that will make a great addition to a quiet family with older children.
Tavia has been:
- Untried with children under 12
- Untried with dogs
- Untried with cats outside of her family (however, she grew up in a colony of 15 cats and 10 kittens so we think she'll do well with other cats with the right introductions)
Tavia is approximately 5 months old and her adoption fee of $150 includes:
- Desexing
- Microchipping
- Vaccination
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- Flea and worming treatments up to date of adoption
- An adoption pack with some of her current wet and dry food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys and other goodies to get her started
Tavia has had all of her vet work done and will be able to go home on the 27th after she's had some time to recover from spaying.
If you'd like to meet Tavia, please contact us to book an appointment
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
