My name is DIEGO FSC #2716 & I'm a great little dog despite my 11+ years. I am very obedient, house trained, travel well in a car and I REALLY would like to find my perfect and wonderful forever home. I've never been a naughty dog and I've only ever been looking for love and a permanent home. My last 2 owners sadly have passed away so I'm really wanting to settle into my final home. I've spent the last few months in boarding kennels with wonderful Tanya at Sapphire Kennels and Cattery who has taken such good care of me over the previous years too but I can't stay there forever. I'm now in foster care with my lovely foster mum in Tathra for AWL Far South Coast Branch. She makes me feel very loved and special. I remind her of one of her very own dogs many years ago so we have a special bond. We go for a big bush walk each morning and an afternoon walk as well. I am also quite active so I love to chase the ball or my kong in the back yard but I can also sit quietly inside. I've made friends with Mischka the Husky who lives next door and I've made a lot of small dog friends at the kennels. I'm a bit nervous with really big dogs because I'm only about 15kg. I love sleeping in my soft warm bed inside but I also like to sneak into my carer's room just before she wakes up and put my head on her chest as she wakes so that she knows how much I love her. I know that I'm not allowed on the bed so I just give her a little snuggle. I'm very clean and well behaved indoors and out. My carer can take me everywhere with her because I'm so well behaved and on Mondy I'm going to Craft Group to meet all the ladies and I'll be sure to impress them all, one might even want to take me home to be her dog. I'm also OK to stay home alone for a couple of hours but I don't like being "home alone" all day because I really like my human's company. I'm fit and healthy and I'd love to find a home with a lady just like my carer who is retired but still active and lots of fun. If you think I could be your forever furry friend, please call.
