About Nero
*In foster care in Petersham, NSW*
Silky-soft kitten Nero is playful AND cuddly - the purrfect mix! He's totally obsessed with food (you'll need to keep the cupboard doors closed and the treat bag well out of his reach!), and will fit right into a household that already has another friendly cat.
Nero's favourite toys are the laser pointer and 'da bird'. And be warned - he HATES it when his foster carers are distracted by their phones or laptops, plonking himself on keyboards and devices to make sure you're paying attention!
This gorgeous young panther has a few more tricks up his sleeve, including draping himself around your neck like a scarf and giving his toys a bath in his water bowl :) If his cheeky personality isn't enough to make you fall in love, those big, beseeching doe-eyes will!
Like all Maggie's pets, Nero is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I really enjoy hanging out with humans, so a home where my new person or people were around a lot would be awesome! I like other cats, and I think I'd be OK with small children too.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten! If I'm not bounding up the hallways or chasing my siblings around, I'm out for the count on the lounge or a sunny windowsill :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: There's an older child in my foster home who I like a lot. I think I'd probably like gentle, cat-loving kids of any age!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm very interested in the the resident older cat in my foster home, so I think I'd definitely appreciate a feline BFF if you've got one for me! I haven’t had the chance to meet any dogs yet.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
