Hi! My name is Faith - I am a 3 year old kelpie mix who is on the lookout for my pawfect forever family.

My perfect home would have a great understanding of how my kelpie brain works and how to to keep it busy! I am ball crrrrrrazy so a fly-ball or any dog sport that involves a ball would be awesome :-)

My foster carers are always telling me how smart I am and I love learning new things! I need a family who is committed to my ongoing learning to help stimulate my active brain! I need someone who will provide me with clear boundaries so I don't get confused and scared. I also need another confident and balanced dog friend to keep me company when you are not home.

I LOOOVE water and will often go cool off in my shell pool! I am great at fetch too and I will bring the ball right up to your feet to play. I am also a great runner and keep up with my foster Dad and kelpie friends. Foster dad keeps telling everyone what a good running partner I am cause I run so beautifully next to him! Whilst I am very playful and full of energy, I am also a snuggle bum. After a busy day, I love spending some quiet time watching the footy with my family.

As for my training ... where do I even start! I can do all the basics, sits, stays and come! I have done loads of lead work with foster mum - I am responsive on the lead and I walk well on my own or with my dog friends next to me. I love my crate and I "go to bed" on command. Whilst I come with my own bag of tricks and smarts, I will need ongoing training daily to make sure I am the best version of myself.

I am excited to find my forever home. I am looking for a home who understand the mental stimulation and physical needs of my breed and are dedicated to my ongoing training.
