About Matilda
AVAILABLE NOW
Long-termer alert! 😯😯 These girls are FREE to adopt.
Matilda and Minnie are fast approaching their 12 month anniversary of arriving in our care.
10 whole months. Currently 313 days of waiting to find a home of their own, and counting.
Don't get us wrong, these girls have a fabulous foster home and they're living happy lives but they can't stay there forever!
Having been born as strays on a property outside of York, they've literally never known what it felt like to be really chosen, really wanted by someone.
We think that's kinda sad 😢😢
This is your chance to change all that for them!
Matilda and Minnie can be adopted together or separately.
These ladies are now around 1yr and 10 months old.
The thing is, they're super independent. Being born out in a shed, they missed out on that human socialisation at an early age. They're not smoochy or cuddly. They don't seek out people.
They're easy going, low maintenance, do-their-own-thing kinda cats. Of course after a whole year in foster care they're going to take a while to adjust to a new place. But they're now very familiar with living in a home.
They're litter trained and to be honest, they don't do much!
Matilda, affectionately know as 'Maxi' next to her sister 😂 is fairly inactive and rather wide in the middle.
These girls are looking for a home or homes where their new family isn't too fussed about actually interacting with them that much, at least not at first.
They are absolutely fine with other cats and dogs - so if you're a family who already has other pets, someone who loves animals and wants to be a saviour to these sweet girls but doesn't mind if they are aloof and do their own thing (except at dinner time!) then we want to hear from YOU!
Matilda and Minnie are healthy girls who have had all their routine vet work done.
They're available for free or by donation.
Please share, or get in touch today if you have a perfect home for one or both of these ladies.
