About Finn 🧶
Before I tell you about my personality, let me give you an insight as to how I ended up in Rescue…..
I was found under a dumpster along with my 2 sisters at just 2 weeks old, and thankfully the person who found us took us straight to a local vet in Sydney. They then contacted the Sydney Cats & Dogs home who welcomed us with open arms 🥰 Being so young, we were bottle fed by a lovely lady until weaned and then moved onto another foster family. Due to the conditions in which we were found, we tested positive for ringworm, so immediately started treatment to get rid of that.
I know lots of people are scared when they hear the word ‘Ringworm’, but it’s actually quite common in kittens and older cats and with the right medication and hygiene procedures, it’s easy to treat and effective. Oh and it’s not caused by worms….it’s actually a fungal infection that affects the skin 😉
To cut a long story short, our carer wasn’t experienced with Ringworm and a little unsure about how to deal with it, so they asked the Paws Team to continue on with our care until we were ready to find our forever homes…..and here I am!
Hopefully you’re still keen to find out all about me….My foster family call me Finn and I’m a 10wk old DMH (Domestic Medium Hair) and quite handsome 😻 I’ve been cleared of Ringworm, but my foster mum is not taking any chances and decided to continue on with my meds until I head off to my new home.
I’m quite a smoochy boy and enjoy cuddling up with you at nap time, greeting you at the door and rubbing against your legs to show you how much you mean to me. Whilst I love to play with toys and my sisters, I will often walk away when I’ve had enough and find a quiet spot to just sit back and watch them.
I’ve not been exposed to young children while in care, but may be fine as long as they are respectful of animals and provide me with the space I need at times.
Having another feline friend in my forever home would be great, but I also feel that I would cope well being your one and only, as long as you provided me with plenty of love and exciting toys. I love to use the scratching post, climb the cat tower and chase the laser (or pretty much anything that moves!)
I’m currently eating Royal Canin kitten food and some small amounts of Fancy Feast wet food and yummy Salmon treats. You’ll be happy to know that I’m an absolute pro at using the kitty litter too ✔️
Please understand that I’m looking for an indoor only home so that I’m kept safe from the dangers outside, and the wildlife is kept safe from me 😉
I’m heading in for my big boy operation on Wednesday 16th June, so will be ready to take home from next weekend! You’ll find me in Hamlyn Terrace on the Central Coast NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
