About Stella
Stella our stunning German Shepherd x Akita (that is the breed mix we are confident she is) is ready to start her journey of find a home.
Stella's date of birth is 21/8/2019. Stella currently weighs around 25kg. She has lost a bit of weight and improved her general condition.
Stella has come a long way in the short time she has been in PARH Care. Her anxiety has reduced significantly. We feel it is best to get her into an appropriately matched home that can continue the boundaries we have established with her.
Stella needs to have the basic self control activities such as waiting to go through doorways (not pushing through), having areas of the house restricted with baby gates and crating at night.
Stella needs a home with a secure yard, no small pets - no cats, no small dogs and no pocket pets or chickens. A home with another medium sized social dog would be fine for Stella. No babies, toddlers and young school aged children. Upper primary and teenagers that can understand the importance of consistency with the required boundaries would be fine.
It is absolutely essential Stella live an indoor / outdoor lifestyle and she has a crate to sleep in at night inside the home.
Stella is medium and large dog social and loves to play and go for runs. She will need daily physical and mental stimulation.
Stella's adoption fee is $600 and she goes to her new home vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and desexed.
Stella will make a great companion for the right home. If you are interested in offering Stella and home and meet the criteria please email us at phoenixarh@outlook.com

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
