Boy George

Hi! I'm Boy George and I am just super excited to be starting the search for a new family!! I haven't had the best few months, you see I somehow ended up in a regional pound after being found as a stray. I was super skinny, had a very large infected wound on my hip, severe ear infection and mange. On top of it all, I’m also Deaf which made it all a lot scarier. Luckily the rangers were super nice and took me into their care and made me feel loved at one of the lowest points in my life where I thought no one would love me.

Then I went on a LOOOONG car ride and ended up meeting some super lovely people who have all been wonderful and once again made me feel like a new man! I can be a bit scared when I first meet some people I get scared because I don't know if they will be nice to me. But once I know they are nice, I love them! I am learning all about this walking on a lead business and trying my best.

I do have some ongoing medical care I will need for the coming months to ensure my ear infection and my skin heals. Did I mention I LOOOOOOVE dogs! Ive met a few and they are all my new best friend, I like all dogs but I can be a bit over excited so need to learn how to be calmer. I met a cat in the pound, but I think I was a bit confused and didn't know what it was. So I would have to meet another one to see how I go. But a home where cats could be kept seperate would be ideal.

I am deaf, so a home that understands my needs is a must!
