About Buddy ~ 7mo Staffy(on trial 10/6/21)
Introducing Buddy, a handsome, very playful 7-month-old Staffy who is looking for a patient and loving home to call his own. Buddy is very active and always up for a play especially when the sun is shining.
Buddy is very affectionate and loves to sit on your lap when you sit with him. He will happily spend his time following you around or playing. Buddy will benefit from daily walks and lots of exercise. Being a large, young, solid boy, Buddy will need a family who can handle his strength and size, whilst also having the patience and consistency to train him. Buddy will thrive off having lead training, recall training, and basic commands.
Buddy is very social and has loved meeting new people and dogs whilst in foster care. Buddy would love having a fur sibling, preferably a dog he can play with but he would also be happy as the centre of attention to his humans. Buddy is a quick learner and has picked up on basic manners since coming into care - he is treat motivated and will sit, drop, and stay.
Buddy really wants to be part of the family and welcomed in at all times. Buddy would love a large backyard with room to play and for toileting as he is not yet toilet trained inside. When inside buddy has had no mistakes and allowed out regularly.
Buddy would suit a family environment with children older than 6 as he can get quite excited and jump for attention, Buddy's favourite toy is with him in his pictures. He loves playing tug o war and chasing it around the yard.
Buddy is looking for a home that is experienced with large breed dogs as he weighs 28kg already. We’d like someone who has the time available to dedicate to training Buddy, as well as giving him the physical and mental stimulation he needs.
