About Prince
*In foster care in Strathfield*
Prince is a beautiful little guy who craves attention (human and feline alike) and loves to play!
He's quickly warmed up to the luxuries of indoor life since coming into foster care with his mum and three sweet siblings, although he is shy at first with strangers. Some of Prince's favourite activities include snuggling next to you on the lounge while you watch TV, chasing his siblings around the house, climbing cat trees, playing with toys and eating. Although one of the smaller kittens in his litter, he has a BIG appetite :)
While Prince can be a bit shy at first, this darling house panther will steal your heart with his gorgeous nature! His little chirp is the cutest thing in the world, and he'll often shake his tail and rub up against you when you walk into the room <3 Prince enjoys pats, chin scratches and belly rubs. He's still warming up to being held for long periods of time and is not convinced about lap time.
Prince tends to bond most closely with one person, and will seek out that person for safety and love. Hanging out with humans is his natural habitat, but loud noises like the vacuum can scare him so he'll need some hidey-holes to escape to when the need arises :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Prince is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be with a wonderful solo person, couple or family with older kids. You'll be very patient, kind and understanding as I find my feet and settle in, knowing you'll be rewarded handsomely when I eventually come out of my shell!
If you work outside the home I'll be able to entertain myself, however as a kitten, I am still super playful, so please remember to spend some time every day playing with me and my toys!
Oh - and I'd totally ADORE a kitty companion! I’m used to having lots of kitty friends in my foster home, so if you already have another friendly kitty waiting for me at home, that would be amazing!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm still a baby really, so I LOVE to play! Sometimes I get the zoomies and run all around the place, but I also love to nap! It’s all about balance.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met too many children, but I’m sure I'll adore yours if they’re teenagers, calm and love cats. I usually get scared and hide when meeting new people, so please be patient with me! I promise I have endless love to give once I'm comfortable with you!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I currently live with my siblings and 7 other cats! I enjoy curling up and cuddling with everyone who'll have me :) I'd absolutely love to be adopted with a feline companion (such as my brother Pepper) or to a home with resident kitties. However, because I have a very gentle personality and am quite small, I do tend to get bullied by bigger and more dominant cats so would like to avoid that please!
I've never met any dogs before, but I'm definitely open to a home with a cat-friendly pup :)

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
