🌼🦁 MEET LENNY 🦁🌼
Hi friends, I'm Lenny! As you can see I am ever such a handsome little lion. I'm on the hunt for my furever family... Could it be you?
Nature
Believe it or not, it was actually by accident that I wandered into the care of the Angels a few months ago. At the time, I was living on the streets scavenging for myself - I was very hungry and all alone. When I first entered a human home I was so afraid that I did not move for an entire month! I would quickly eat and use the litter tray when my foster mum was away or asleep, but I would not dare move an inch while I knew she was near.
With lots of time, love and patience I have since come out of my shell a little and let my silly personality start to shine through. I think I might even be starting to like my foster mum’s company after all! I will happily eat in front of her now and I’ll even lick treats out of her hands! I like to sit near her to groom myself and have a little snooze.
Companions (Children, Cats and Dogs)
I haven't yet been tested with other cats or dogs, but with a slow introduction I think I would be ok. A friendly kitty might be just what I need to show me the ropes and encourage me to let my full personality shine through!
As for kids... Hmmm, I'm not sure. I think a home with adults and maybe some older teenagers would suit me best.
Likes / Dislikes
My ideal day is spent curled up indoors in the sun where I can relax and take care of my lovely coat. I also looove my food! I have wet food once a day and always have dry food in my bowl, so I never have to worry about going hungry again. I also love creamy treats and will lick them right out of my foster mum’s hand while she gives me a gentle pat. I am growing to enjoy my foster mum’s company and will always come up and have a chat with her at the end of the day - I can be quite chatty!
I still don’t like pats and I will let out a little hiss to let you know when I’ve had enough. I am also quite frightened of sudden movements and loud noises, so a small place to hide where I can feel safe is very important.
My PURR-fect home would be with a kind adult or two to provide lots of time, patience and love. I still have a little way to go before this lion becomes a teddy bear, but with the right home I know it’s possible for my true personality to shine through.
Do you have room in your home and heart to give this little street cat a chance?
