Heyyy... Presto!
Pleased to meet ya! I'm Presto and I'm an 18 month old kelpie lad who has travelled all the way from Merredin to find my new home in the big smoke.

I was meant to be a working dog on the farm but some of my sheep herding skills just weren't quite up to scratch. I'm a super friendly family fella who would rather be with my peeps than out working.

Don't get me wrong, I'm an active and intelligent boy with a quick mind. Im looking for a family who will make sure I get plenty of mental and physical stimulation each and every day.

I love other dogs and would enjoy living with a female companion dog so we can hang together all day. Or if I'm your only dog, hopefully you have family or friends with pooches that I can have playdates with.

I'm also great with kids! They're just smaller humans and I love humans of all sizes.

I haven't been around cats before and they seem kinda strange to me - like, what do they do??
I'm a pretty gentle boy though so I reckon if you introduce me slowly to your cat friend, they can be my friend too.

Growing up on a farm, I never went fir walks on a lead. The thought of being tied up freaks me out so I'm a bit wary about having a lead on.
Obviously here in the city, I need a lead on to be able to walk safely with you. So you'll just need to teach me how to wear one comfortably and get me used to it before we go out in busy places.
Also - the beach! I've heard of this mystical place but have never been there. It might freak me out at first but I'm super excited!

I'm a bit of a 'velcro dog,' that is, I love to be as close as I can be, as often as possible, to my people. I'm definitely looking for a home where I'll be indoors as part of the family!
