About Bolt
Bolt is an energetic boy with a soft side. He loves playing with other dogs, as well as snuggling up close with them. He loves kids of all ages and would make a great family dog. He hasn’t really been around cats for awhile but has met them and is not aggressive towards them (although might like to round them up)
Bolt is a fast learner and loves to please you, he can sit, waits for food, walks on lead, is crate trained, and knows to go outside for toilet. He loves to play most of the day so a doggy friend would be great, so he has a play buddy.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.
IF YOU CAN TICKALL THE BELOW BOXES, PLEASE POP IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR US TO CONSIDER.
• You have at least a very large size yard
• Bolt will not be alone more than 5hrs.
• You will allow a Bolt to be part of the family and allow him access to indoors.
• You WILL enroll him in obedience training
• You WILL provide him with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
• You have experience with him breeds or have thoroughly researched them.
Applications providing extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer, including FULL details on mental and physical stimulation you intend to provide will be considered. You will also need to include details on the obedience club you will be attending and detail the knowledge you have on his breeds. Please note if you provide basic details only, we will be unable to process your application sorry.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
