Axle is just a big sweet sook! He love head-butting and rubbing faces with his person! So hopefully getting strongly head-butted and rubbed on the face is exactly your kind of thing!
Axle is really gentle and a bit of a scaredy cat so he needs someone who will nurture him calmly and gently! A lot of action can send Axle hiding so a peaceful home would be best. Axle has been in foster in a foster house with resident cats and small dogs and has shown himself to be polite and submissive with the other animals. He can be a bit of a pushover though so he would like to live with animals that are not going to bully him. He is a sensitive soul!
Axle needs to be started off in one cosy room with hidey spots where he can develop a safe space before being given access to the rest of the house. It took him some time before he felt comfortable exploring his foster home. Being an indoor only kitty is a must for Axle. He would make a wonderful indoor cat though, he has shown no interest in roaming outside and has been the perfect household citizen in foster care. Axle likes having a little play with wand toys and enjoys hidey beds and hanging out on a cat tree. Axle is a joy to come home to because once he gets to trust you he is always so happy to see you and ready for pats and rubs! If you are looking for a very sweet cat whose confidence you can help grow Axle may just be your guy!
