Buddy (on adoption trial)

Buddy is a playful, gentle-natured 12 month-old staffy cross.

He is a loveable and happy boy, he is a fast learner, highly motivated by food rewards and is quickly learning his basic commands. He walks well on leash, pulling only at the start when super excited, travels well in the car and is toilet trained.

Buddy loves the company of both humans and dogs. He is still learning to trust and not yet quite up to big cuddles from his humans, but he will get there. Buddy is showing signs of separation anxiety when away from his humans and other dogs, but this is not unusual for dogs just coming out of the pound. He can also get a bit over excited indoors when there are lots of visitors and other dogs, but again this is normal for a young dog straight out of a pound.

Buddy is looking for a home where he will be an inside/outside dog joining in family life and activities. Buddy would love an active and well socialised doggy companion in his new home, and prefers a home where people are coming and going and there is company. He is only still a pup so needs his family to be committed to his on-going training and socialisation. Buddy is a pup with loads of potential and in the right home will become a wonderful family companion.
