About Lady Cecile Rathdowne
This delightful little lady was found wandering the streets of Tullamarine severely underweight, her beautiful grey fur bleach an ugly brown with a massive abscess on her shoulder. Vets treated her but due to a ridiculous squabble between Hume Council and Lost Dogs Home about who'd pay for her to be picked up... nobody would help this sweet girl and get her where her owners could find her, because of their bureaucracy gone beserk. Shame on you Hume Council, shame on you Lost Dogs Home - what happened to the welfare of the animal? As it was an emergency and the people who are paid to help wouldn't, a volunteer was called in and picked her up within 2 hours.
Lady Cecile was treated for her abscess, then licked it open. Then it was stitched up and she scratched it open. Stitched up the third time and luckily we managed to stop her opening up her wound again, it's now healed up nicely.
Lady Cecile was obviously someone's much loved pet, she's desexed, had dentals but sadly was not microchipped. Her last two teeth were rotten (she had been on the streets for a while) so they've been removed and now she's a perfectly happy gummy cat that does cute bleps regularly. She absolutely adores her food, especially being starved on the streets, and finishes off hers with great relish, and everyone else's if allowed!
She's a very outgoing friendly little lady who still believes that humans are wonderful, and should be loved at every opportunity! After what she's been through, it's a miracle. We're looking for a loving retirement home for Lady Cecile where she can spend her days cuddling, sunning and loving up her human to the end of her days. If this is you, submit an enquiry now and get this lovebug diva into your life now!
Lady Cecile Rathdowne is a healthy raw/prescription fed cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #953010004887783, source #RE101165). She is available for adoption right now!
