Shirl is a beautiful, sweet and loyal kelpie with so much love to give. She is a playful girl that loves chasing tennis balls and anything squeaky.

While in foster care, Shirl has enjoyed sleeping in, having chats with her foster carers, playing chasey and receiving a million pats. Shirl loves to be the centre of attention, and will let you know with a little "boof" that it's time for pats.

Shirl knows all her basic commands such as sit, stay and will wait for her food and is toilet trained. She is very gentle when taking food and treats, but can be a bit picky with what's for dinner.

Shirl developed an immediate bond with a male foster carer and would show signs of separation anxiety when she would be without him. Being a kelpie she would highly benefit from training, to keep her brain stimulated, and from being in an active home where she will be walked, or taken for a run, twice a day.

Shirl is such a well mannered and sweet girl, she would be well suited to an active couple, a family with dog savvy kids, or just as someone's best friend that will include her in their everyday life.
