About MacGyver
Sadly 10yr old MacGyver’s Dad passed suddenly and he is in urgent need of a new home.
His bio reads:
He is curious and will investigate sounds and follow you around the house, he is outgoing and prefers company as opposed to being by himself. He will curl into a ball either on your lap, next to you on the couch or on another chair close by. He is extremely food orientated and is a little overweight, if he hears rustling or you in the kitchen he will jump up on a chair or sit by your feet hoping to get some food. He loves to sunbake and spread out, he doesn't hide at all and is very affectionate. He will approach you for pats and chin rubs and purrs softly when you give them to him. He is good with other cats and plays but likes to assert his dominance by humping them. He is good with small dogs and chases them around the lounge room, I don't know what he is like with large or loud dogs but I think he would be playful in time (we have a very quiet house and he is always playing with our chihuahua). He is good with kids and will approach them for pats, he doesn't scratch or bite but sometimes whacks them with his paw (no claws) just a gentle bop and waddles away.
He needs his inhaler morning and night for his asthma and has a stronger inhaler if he starts coughing to has an attack during the day. We've only had to use the stronger inhaler twice (in about a month). We also have steroid tablets to give to him if he is struggling to breathe but have not had to give them to him.
