About Thor
G’day! My name is Thor and I’m a 9-month-old kelpie x border boy. I have enthusiasm for life and ‘fun’ is my middle name!
I love having lots of space to run around, play and explore! My most favourite thing to do is play tug - it is sooooo much fun! I get along well with my doggy friends - I even have some little friends! I have been around a pony and even some goats while I've been in foster care and although I sometimes go say 'hi', foster mum says I am a good boy around them. Unfortunately I have not got to meet any sheep, but I have fun herding my doggy friends!
I have been learning my boundaries while in foster care and I always try my very best to remember my manners around my humans and other dogs. I know to sit, wait for my food and only eat when I am told it’s ok. I sleep quietly in my crate and have started having naps during the day which foster mum thinks is very clever! My recall is good (even when something exciting is happening) and I'm doing a pretty good job on lead too! I know to only do my business outside and I will let foster mum know if I am busting!
I am excited to find my forever home. I am looking for an experienced working dog home who understand the mental and physical stimulation needs of my breed and are committed to my ongoing training. I would love a home with loads of space to run around - maybe even a little farm! I would love an older doggy sibling who is confident and will be able to tolerate my outgoing and playful nature. Most of all I’d like a family who will love me and include me in their lives.
If this sounds like you, then please send in your email application now!
Love and licks,
