About Zoe
I came to Lort Smith through no fault of my own – my previous owners unfortunately were no longer able to provide time for me, or the activity that I so desperately want.
The staff at Lort Smith have been wonderful, but I am eager to find my new home and start my new life.
I am a shy, anxious girl when I first meet you, but please don’t let that deter you! Once I warm up to you and get to know you, I’ll be your best friend. I do enjoy affection but I do ask that you go slow, as I just need a bit of time to establish my surroundings.
Going to a home with a family that has experience with working breeds would be wonderful.
Due to my lack of socialisation around new people, environments and other animals, I would benefit greatly from professional training and with someone that can be patient with me whilst I gain much needed confidence.
I love food a little bit too much, and I have absolutely no interest in sharing, so I will need to be the only animal at home.
It would be best that there are no younger children in my new home, as I sometimes don’t know my own strength and I would feel awful if I accidentally knocked them over whilst playing.
I will go to my new home as a foster with a view to adopt, as I do have some health issues I'm still resolving. I am very overweight and as such my new family needs to be diligent in getting me back to my optimum size. I require daily exercise with gradual increase in time so I can build up my endurance and muscle mass.
I also have mild dental disease and also require a tooth to be removed, this has been booked in for a couple weeks time. My friends at the Adoption Hub can go over this all with you in further detail.
If you're interested in meeting me, please contact the Lort Smith Adoption Hub.
