Kalah

Kalah is a typical happy, friendly staffy mix that adores people. On the smaller side, don't let her size fool you, she's got loads of love and energy to give!

Since coming into care, she has shown that she can learn new things and has done very well with all the basic commands, is house trained, sleeps well through the night, is happy to be left alone for short periods during the day and doesn't destroy or chew things.

She loves snuggles on the lounge, following you around the house, exploring in the yard and snoozing in the sun. Kalah is also enjoying good daily walks and is a tad overweight, so continued daily exercise is a must. She’s one of those dogs that wants to be around her favourite humans, so giving her free rein inside and out will be a must.

Tug of war is her favourite game and she'd do anything for a cheeky piece of chicken. Like the lady she is, she stays right next to you on your walks.

When it comes to other dogs, like any Staffy , she gets super happy & excited around them, so will need a family with dog experience to keep her calm and respectful.

Her perfect home will be one where she can hang around the family and can come and go outside as she pleases as she loves to explore in the backyard and discover all the nooks and crannies. You would need to be home most days and want a cuddly, loving dog. She's been fine with the kids that she's met too.

She'd be great with another well balanced, friendly and playful dog at home as she loves to play all day with other dogs of all different shapes and sizes. She's also respectful of other dogs if they have had enough, she will just leave them alone. As an energetic staffy mix, Kalah will need good daily physical & mental stimulation to keep her happy. If looking for an adventure buddy or great family dog, Kalah would suit. No cats or pocket pets though.
