About Jonjo
Beautiful Jonjo suits a quiet house if possible, though he may get used to a family if the kids are older and used to being considerate to cats. He is scared of noise and not so keen on strangers, but he's the gentlest cat I've ever met - hes not once even tried to scratch, bite or hiss even when he's been very scared. He does seem to prefers women but he hasn't exactly approached anyone but the carer and one of her friends who catsat for one night so it may be the case of getting to know people better over time.
He likes the cardboard scratching boards but has started using the pole. He is still a little to scared to play with his carer yet, but will happily play on his own. He keeps to himself unless she is somewhere he thinks is safe (on the bed and in the bathroom) in those places, he meows for attention and jumps up for head and chin scratches. He has the quietest of purrs and will tell you exactly where he'd like to be patted on his head. It has taken time but he loves to lie on his carers chest for pats and sit beside her on the lounge. He still jumps sometimes if The carer makes sudden movements when not in his safe space, so the adopter will need to be patient to begin with and you will be rewarded with the love of a beautiful and very gentle boy.
Medical notes
FIV +
This sweet boy has had a bad start to life. He has some arthritis in his back legs but is now comfortable and loosing a bit of weight which will help. He had a little lump on his nose which was investigated and found to be of no concern.
