About Chewy DL2684
Chewy is a lovely dog, very affectionate with lots of cuddles and kisses.
Chewy loves having you at home with her and makes a wonderful companion. She is well behaved in the home and only becomes excitable when her harness and lead come out.
She is happy to entertain herself while you're gardening or doing housework, she'll wander around the yard and have a sniff. She hasn't shown interest in playing with toys yet, they seem quite new to her.
She takes food gently and eats her meals quite daintily. She has started with some basic training (such as 'come', 'sit', and 'leave it') and has been learning quickly. She’s an intelligent girl and will pick up more cues with further training. She'd love to learn new things with you!
Chewy can be shy at first, so give her a little time to warm up. She is suited to a person or couple with no kids. She hasn't lived with cats. When tested by our trainer, Chewy was okay with their dog, after being quite scared initially. You'll need to take introductions slowly and help Chewy to grow in confidence.
If you'd love to welcome Chewy into your home, contact DFLadoption@gmail.com to apply!
