Hi! I'm Cricket, Cricket is a loyal and mature lady with a calm and sweet nature. She's on the smaller side, with stunning green eyes and a soft, shiny coat. She can be entertaining and funny in her own way, with some strange meows and unexpected head butts as the mood strikes her.
Cricket was recently surrendered to SAFE through no fault of her own and is well accustomed to family life and children but doesn't like other animals, although her current foster has dogs that she chooses to ignore. Cricket likes to spend her days laying on the couch on her blanket catching the suns rays when she can... As an older lady, she is very clean and uses her litter tray.
Being 12 years young, Cricket is fairly low maintenance and seems to be happy snoozing away next to her people for the most part. Given time and the right environment to come out of her shell, she may yet be a lap cat as she only gets more affectionate as time goes on. After 10 days of settling into her new foster home, Cricket has recently taken to following her foster carers around the house and greeting them with purrs and head smooshes whenever she can, so we're confident that she has a lot more love to give once you earn her loyalty. Cricket is a strong communicator who'll let you know if she wants affection or food.
Cricket has so much love to give and deserves a home to see out the rest of her days. She is really no trouble to have and has such a sweet little nature she could slot into almost any (animal free) home. If you can open your heart to this beautiful lady, she will reward you with endless loyalty, loud purrs, head butts and cockroach slaying !
