Cheeks

Hi I'm Cheeks, my big cheeks say it all! I was a tom cat living a tough life in an area with other older tom cats who sometimes got the better of me. I am scared, my ears, my nose and I'm sure my soul. As you can imagine living on the streets I am FIV Positive. I was brought into SAFE after a much need rest at the vet clinic who de-sexed, vaccinated and micro-chipped me. I just want to please. I am an old soul and a warrior. I am kind and loving and I just want to snuggle, I start purring straight away once you start to scratch my cheeks, hence my name. I even use a litter tray! I wish I could tell my story, but when you look at me, I am trusting you understand the life that I could have lived if not for SAFE.
My trust in humans is amazing when you consider the life I have lived but I did have humans give me scraps of food and some pats at different times as they came and went. I often wondered when it would be my time. SAFE stepped in and I am now in care with a foster carer.
