Elodea is a energetic and playful girl looking for an active family. She is great with other dogs and is amazing with children as well. Her new family should be home most times as she can get bored and has a tendency to do a bit of gardening if she is left to her own devices for too long. Although she hasn't been in foster care with other dogs, a compatible resident dog in the home might assist with this,

She would also fit in better to a large backyard as she is a big girl who likes to stretch her lovely long legs. She loves to play but also has her couch potato moments and would love a cuddle every so often.

Elodea is almost fully house trained but may need a little more training as she has only had a couple of accidents during the time she has been in care. She does not know any tricks or commands yet but I’m sure she’d be easy to train as she is still a baby and is food motivated.

She needs ongoing support with walking nicely on leash as she pulls fairly hard and will drag you along if you let her! A strong and capable owner would be best to assist her with this. She has been excellent while living with people of all shapes and sizes, even the littlest ones.
