About Dwayne
PLEASE READ THE WHOLE DESCRIPTION!
What a handsome boy!
Meet Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson! A Rottweiler born 16th of May, 2019. Once he gets to know you he is the sweetest love bug you will ever meet.
Dwayne can be weary of new people and tends to guard his kennel barking at those that walk passed, but he is beginning to learn that people can be really amazing.
Dwayne loves to go out for a walk, though he does get excited and pulls a little. He can be corrected, but would benefit from further training.
Though Dwayne didn't seem to mind other dogs at this stage we believe it would be best for Dwayne to be socialised more with other dogs in the safety of a trainer before the possibility of being rehomed with them. He would not be suitable with any other animal.
Dwayne really needs an experienced owner that can help guide and train him to be more comfortable around new people. He would be best suited to a home with no children or elderly. He seems to show mild signs of separation anxiety and frustration in the kennel destroying blankets and water buckets, spinning his bowl around the kennel.
Although he is stressed here at the pound he does relax around people he is familiar with and absolutely loves to run around and play with toys like a goofball. He would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family and involved in the day to day activities. Dwayne will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Dwayne's adoption fee is $800 and includes his desexing, lifetime registration, and discounted training thanks to Dog Ed Daycare and Training. He is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with his vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please give the facility a call on 43044350 to make an appointment and ask further questions.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once all of your questions have been answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in. Please bring to your appointment photos of your fencing also showing all gates that attach to the house.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
