About Frankie
Frankie is a 7 month old male long haired Dachshund.
He is a typical happy puppy. Loves to play, sleep and eat. He's working on his toilet training and his lead walking but he struggles to walk in a straight line at time ...... he's not quite used to his legs so they sometimes get away from him! He's slightly uncoordinated, but very sweet and funny! He has swollen paws and a puffy face but not for any reason we can find and does not bother him, just adds to his cuteness. He LOVES to be with you will follow you everywhere .... including the bath much to his foster mums surprise. He's great with kids, cats and other dogs. Frankie needs to be part of your family though, wants to be involved and needs people with him as much as possible. He's very snugly and ever so slightly dependent! He's a very special boy. Not the smartest but certainly the goofiest and the cutest.

Medical notes
Frankie has puffyness around the base of his tail, nose and feet. This does not effect him. We have spoken to our vets and had him on medication but it stayed the same. We are all unsure of what has caused this.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
