Hi. My name is Mickey and I’m a sweet, chilled, loving little fella. I’m only around 6kg, so if you’re looking for a loyal lapdog and companion, I’m the one.

I’m very easy going, I’m very confident & happy and just want to love and please you. I will be your little shadow. I want to be with you all the time. I will need your patience, attention and love, to know I can trust you.

I must have an owner that is home A LOT! I would suit a retired, semi retired or work from home human. If you do work part time or leave the house I WILL NEED another dog at home for companionship. I’m perfect on the lead and in the car, so I’ll happily go out with you.
I’ll need secure fencing, because of my size and curiosity.

I spend most of my day just laying around the house, or exploring the gardens with my foster siblings. So a big yard, is not necessary, if you’ll take me for a daily walk. My foster mum works part time and I’ve been happy to stay home with the other small dogs, but will walk you to the door when you leave and am the first one to greet you at the door when you get home.

I have a cataract on one eye, but the vet says I can see from that eye & that it’s very unusual for such a young dog to have one. It hasn’t hindered me at all at my foster home. And my foster family don’t even notice I have it! I do enjoy a brush, to look neater & am so easy to bath, in the laundry tub. I may need a groom once or twice a year, but I’m not a huge hair shedder.

I would love to curl up by your feet in bed at night, but if this is a no no, then I will sleep on my own bed close to you. I’ve learnt to trust and have soooo much love to show my humans.
