About Birdie
Hi there! My name is Birdie, and I came to the shelter as my previous owner was unable to care for me anymore. When I arrived I was very scared and didn't want to interact much at all with the staff here so they decided to send me to a foster home. I had so much space of my own, and everything was so much quieter so I immediately came out of my little shell.
After spending a few weeks in foster, I have decided I am definitely ready to find my purrfect family. I dream of a nice quiet home, where I can be safe indoors without the scariness of the outside world. My favourite thing to do is perch myself up on my humans shoulders. Yep, that's right, I am a little bit like a bird! I will climb up and rub my face all over you, I hope you don't mind! I may even fall asleep on your shoulders once we form that special bond.
Due to this, I need to go to a household with no young children as I might be a bit too full on for them jumping on their shoulders, and they may be a little scary for me too as I am still quite shy. I am quite the food lover too however I do require some encouragement whilst I eat. Please know that you will need to pat me, and talk to me whilst I eat my brekkie and dinner. Nothing less for a princess like me!
If you think you can welcome me into your home, please speak to the staff at the front desk and they will organise a meet up! I can't wait!
