Medium Female Blue Heeler x Hairy Hound Dog

On Hold
Hairy hound hoping for happy home! martha is hoping for a shaggy dog story with a happy ending! she might be a bit funny-looking with her shaggy coat and blue spots, but she's a delightful young dog with a charming and gentle personality. From her heeler side she is active, intelligent and affectionate, but tempered with the soft nature of a hound. Martha is very human-oriented and so willing to please that she has proved very trainable. She can be a bit bouncy, so most suitable for older children (9+), but would make a perfect companion for kids wanting a dog to participate in all their activities, from playing games to watching tv. Martha is confident and outgoing, so would cope happily with a busy household. She is friendly with other dogs of all sizes, including littlies. Martha walks well on a lead, travels happily in the car and enjoys belly rubs. She will need secure fencing, daily exercise and ongoing training, but in return will make you laugh at her funny face and cheerful nature. Martha is currently in foster care in the macedon ranges area. If you are interested in meeting her, please download a copy of our dog adoption questionnaire from our website at http://www.
