About Achilles
Why, hello there! I'm Achilles, pleased to meet you!
First impressions can be deceiving! I can be mistaken for being a bit tough guy but I'm really quite a different story.
It takes me a little while to settle in to a new place so I like to hide out at first. Once I get used to the new noises and smells I'm pretty relaxed and don't need much really to be content. I actually prefer to spend most of my time indoors.
Something to know about me is that I tested positive for Feline Immuno-Deficiency virus (FIV). It's similar to HIV in humans actually. Humans cannot contract FIV, and it can only be transferred to other cats via deep-tissue bites so it is actually quite hard to transmit. I have also recovered from cat flu.
I am a big softie of a cat that would absolutely love a home where I could be spoilt with love and affection and have fun things like toys, a cat tower to climb and relax on, and a family just to hang out with! I'll show you I'm a very affectionate companion :))
I'll want to be beside you, on your lap kneading, asking for chin scratches, all that cat loving because I'll be thanking you all my life for giving me a second chance at being the loving kitty I really am.
Love,
Achilles xx
