Hello to Hope!

If anyone understands lockdown, it is our beautiful girl Hope. When she was a very young kitten, Hope had to be isolated for 4 weeks due to a skin condition (see medical notes). This plucky kitty never once complained even though she was in lockdown on her own.

But boy was she happy to finally come home to her foster carer!

In our care, Hope has shown herself to be an intelligent girl but one who reveals herself slowly, once she trusts you. On first meeting you will not get the full Hope experience, so she needs a “cat person” who will work with her at her pace.

Hope is definitely a cat suited to a home of just one adult or a couple with no children (and no plans for any). Hope can be a little feisty at times, when the mood takes her.

But also loud and noisy youngsters send Hope scampering for the nearest hiding place – and she won’t come out until they are gone.

With adults though Hope loves to show off her big purr and her energetic streaks, when the mood takes her. And after showing off her acrobatic skills and lightning quick reflexes, Hope loves a cuddle when she is worn out.

Hope has a lovely grey tabby coat and a beautiful face. She doesn’t like dogs but would be fine with another cat as long as they are properly introduced.

Hope is everything her name suggests - a resilient kitty who loves her life after a terrible start. And she is hopeful that her person/people will give her the understanding she will need initially to really shine and bring you so much joy and happiness.
