Gorgeous boy Bruce is looking for a home.
Bruce is a very proud, independent dog that is very true to his breed characteristics.
When first meeting Bruce it takes time and consistency with him before he decides to be best friends with you. There is no rushing the relationship with this boy. In return for your patience though, you with be rewarded with unconditional love and loyalty in a way that only a Chow can deliver. In Bruce’s case that love comes with a big goofy smile, with his purple, tongue hanging out of his mouth and eyes that look right into your soul.
Bruce is a very quiet dog, that has nice manners. He likes to catch up and socialise with other well behaved dogs.
Bruce has a very full double coat that will require regular brushing and grooming. Bruce is not suited to living with young children.
“ The Chow Chow is a dog breed originally from northern China. The Chow Chow is a sturdily built dog, square in profile, with a broad skull and small, triangular, erect ears with rounded tips. The breed is known for a very dense double coat that is either smooth or rough.”
If considering Bruce, please research the breed first but also remember that Bruce is still a dog and the same theories and basics apply to taking him into your home as does any other dog. We are looking for someone who has read the profile and can address the needs in their application.

The adoption process is as follows.
1. Please Apply here

2. Please include as much information as possible, ask questions in the comments section of the application.
3. All suitable applicants will be contacted via phone and given a phone interview.
4. After the phone interview we will make arrangements for you to meet the dog.
5. After meeting, and if all parties are agreeable, we will have a home inspection.
