About Hank
Note: Hank sheds a lot of hair and is NOT hypoallergenic.
Hank is a sweet, bouncy, energetic and social pooch. Typical of puppies his age raised during COVID, he displays separation anxiety behaviours (destructive, barking/crying, jumping/scratching doors) so he needs a family where someone is home more often than not.
He lacked impulse control when he first came into care but has come such a long way in learning basic manners. He was very rough with kids in his previous home and would knock them over/pin them down. This wasn’t out of aggression, just not being taught appropriate behaviour, but for this reason kids under 12 are not suitable.
We’d love to see him with a family who will take him to obedience classes! If there is an existing dog in the house they would need to be tolerant of Hank’s behaviour as he is very persistent in his attempts to play. This boy has boundless energy and will play fetch non-stop until YOU get tired! He is very affectionate and thrives on receiving pats and belly rubs. He walks well on lead using a halti. He is crate trained and toilet trained.
