About Finn
Hi, I’m Finn! Welcome to my Finnder profile!
You can call me Finnegan, Findlay, Finagle, or Finndicator, I don’t really mind. I’m quite proud of my beautiful golden coat, it’s very soft and is just about all grown back from my previous life. I could do with a bit more food to fill out my frame though, as there’s a lot of me!
I’m a bit larger than an average greyhound and quite gangly, sometimes I don’t know where all my legs are. I’m still working on quickly getting up on things like couches and into cars, but I’m getting better at it every day. I’m also getting pretty good at recall, but I still need a bit of work. I’m more likely to do it if there’s chicken treats involved, just sayin’. I’m also learning to leave things when told and am learning not to nick off with everything that smells good.
At the moment I’m living with a medium-size female dog in a house with a big backyard and we’re getting along famously. We do zoomies and chase each other around a lot, and I only grizzle at her if she’s getting in my face too much. I LOVE living in a house with a backyard so I can come and go as I please, but I picked up toilet training quickly and can be relied on to hold it in for about 5 hours nowadays. Good work, me! Thanks, me!
I’m a breeze on a short lead, I’ll let you take control. I’m not afraid of cars or motorbikes (yeah, I’m pretty chill), and I really like meeting adult dogs of all sizes! I still have a bit of work to do about meeting squirmy puppies, though. I’m fine with wearing a face mask though - everyone’s doing it nowadays, I guess.
I haven’t been left totally by myself yet and always have the other dog for company. When humans go I tend to bark and whine a little and then I settle down. But then they come back!
Wherever you go, I’ll want to go. So can I come with you, please?
