Hydro

I'm Hydro and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• Rides in the car
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• I like both friendly male and female dogs but I can be fussy on who I want to be friends with.
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must
• I am a clever, young and active doggo - I would be great for dog training, trick training, agility etc.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• No young children as when I'm excited I get very bouncy and mouthy, older children who will be involved with my training should be ok. I'm also quite obsessed with the sound of squeaky toys and will jump to get it from you. Small children's toys and their own noises may trigger my reactions.

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Small children due to being mouthy & bouncy

My best features:
• LOVE people
• Happy to hang out with other dogs
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• I love squeaky toys
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be a bit bouncy -training should stop this
• I will require full basic training as I've had no training experience yet
• I can be strong on the lead - training and walking me in a halti or harness may stop this

ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET HYDRO BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
