About Beanie
"Hello everyone my name is Beanie but my friends call me Bean! I'm a curious man with a big head and I am hoping to find a special person or family to adopt me.
After a bit of getting to know each other, I would LOVE to go to a home where my new parents have got a friendly cat for me to get along with. I'll be sure to run through tunnels (yes, I would love you to buy one for me please) at 4am, rest with the other kitty and we can even stare out the window together.
I'm a huge fan of cardboard boxes. I'd love my new parents to get some for me rest in, on soft blankets.
I love sitting on a window perch, checking out the birdies and other things outside, from the safety of a home.
I'm a bit shy to start with and I'm really looking to go to a quiet home where my new parents will introduce me very slowly to the house, people in it and also maybe another cat that I'll eventually be friends with. It might take a few days or weeks to be able to pat me (without food) but if you go slow, we'll get there.
If you go too quickly with me, I'll do my Dracula face (hiss) and bat your hand away, especially if you don't have yummy food with you. I'm also a bit scared of loud noises and visitors.
Most importantly, my favourite treats are definitely BBQ chicken and anything fishy. And after going to the toilet, sometimes I like to run around in what I call my 'victory lap'.
I'm looking for a special home with an experienced cat owner to adopt me please. If you are interested in booking an appointment to meet me, please call the shelter on 8777 4445 or email kempscreek@awlnsw.com.au today" - Bean
