Tanoshi is an absolute pleasure to have around. She is generally well mannered, loves to please and absolutely adores a cuddle.

She appears to have been well socialised with children from an early age, but unfortunately had never really been around other dogs until she got to the pound. She is slowly learning that not all other canines are the enemy. She would be best suited to a home without another dog at this stage while she is still figuring out the world.

She loves people, and has been very pleased to get all the attention at school drop off whilst living with her foster family.

Tanoshi walks well on a lead using a head halti, although moving vehicles gets her attention very quickly, and she sometimes lunges and attempts to chase them as they zoom past. On walks, when seeing other dogs, she will react, so a strong and firm owner is a must. Tanoshi would benefit from having group training sessions so she can get more comfortable being around other dogs.

While she loves the attention of people, she also likes her alone time and will happily sleep the day away curled up on her bed in between adventures.

Tanoshi knows some basic commands, sleeps in a crate overnight, and is toilet trained.
