About Flopsy
Flopsy is a sweet young girl.
She enjoys watching - and even trying to play- sports in the backyard with her foster siblings (children) such as basketball and badminton.
Flopsy has a maternal instinct and a soft spot for babies - she can't resist coming over for a look when there is a baby on a mat. She is very gentle and a little timid but curious and will become more amenable to pats as she develops trust.
Flopsy's favourite treats are apple, pear, cranberries and sultanas.
She also loves Science Selective Rabbit pellets which we use for training purposes for her.
She's a good bunny and only digs in the sandy/soil areas and doesn't destroy the grassed areas. She also doesn't eat/destroy all the plants in the yard.
Flopsy enjoys having a safe space available such as a cardboard box or anything she can hide in when she is roaming the garden.
Medical notes
Flopsy is positive for E.Cuniculi and requires a 9 day course of medication every 6 months for life. Because of this, she has had a head tilt which has almost resolved to normal. The 5th photos shows how her head is only slightly tilted now.
Adoption details
If you are interested in any of our available animals, please send us an email. We will send you through an adoption questionnaire which helps us to get to know you and to help match you with the right animal.
We will then arrange a day and time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If all goes well, we will have you sign an adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee and take home your newest addition for a two week trial period.
If during the trial period, you decide that this is not the right animal for your family, we can arrange for the animal to be returned to us and you will receive a full refund.
After the trial period, the animal may still be returned at any time but there will be no refund.
