About Pistachio
This playful and purry Little Nut is still looking for his furrever home and is available for meet and greets!
Pistachio is the perfect gentleman, he tends to hang back and let his sisters get all the attention, waiting patiently for his turn. Get him by himself though and Pistachio’s macho exterior melts away as he rolls around for a good scratch and rub. He'll play hard when the zoomies hit - Pistachio especially loves chasing and pouncing on his siblings - but once he crashes, he'll snuggle up to you for some belly rubs.
Pistachio is:
- tried with older children
- tried with a large breed cat friendly dog
- untried with other cats
Pistachio's adoption fee of $210 includes:
- Desexing
- Vaccination
- Microchip
- Flea and worming treatments up to date of adoption
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of his current wet and dry food, a carrier blanket, some toys and other goodies to get him started.
Pistachio is available to meet for pre-adoption ahead of his vet work at his foster carer's home in Craigburn Farm.
If you'd like to meet Pistachio, please contact us to book an appointment.
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
