If you’re looking for a pup who is full of beans, Diego is your boy! He’s a typical doggy dog; he loves to chase a ball, do zoomies around the yard and more than anything loves a treat! Or wet food, or dry food (or human food or cat food or..!).

Diego will happily sit for his food or a pat when asked, but he’s still learning the skill of patience and is way too excited to wait for his dinner! Diego can be protective over his dinner and is best to be fed separately, but his foster family are working on improving this behaviour.

He’s very happy to play with anyone, children, dogs and cats (although the cats aren’t always too keen on playing chase). As he’s a bit exuberant he may be too much for very young children and is better suited to those able to handle his high activity level.

Diego also likes to snuggle, and is very happy to cuddle up next to you on the couch or at the end of the bed if you’ll let him. He always has a beautiful staffy smile on his face and often you can see him bouncing around in his dreams.

Diego is a jumper / climber and his foster family often find him on top of his kennel rather than in it, or on the outside window sill hoping that he will be allowed back in! Due to this he will need secure 6 ft fencing and he will need a home where he is allowed both inside and outside.
