About Humphrey ~ 10 week old kitten (on trial 10/6/21)
Just like his name sake Humphrey B Bear, this little bear cub has a gentle nature and the cutest little bob tail. Humphrey is a sweet and friendly boy with an almighty purr and striking yellow eyes.
Humphrey was found on the streets with his sister when he was only 5 weeks old but we assume that one of his parents must have been a Manx cat given his stumpy tail and long legs.
Humphrey is a confident little guy who loves the company of other cats. He loves to cuddle up with the other cats in the house but his favourite place to curl up is inside your dressing gown on your chest.
Humphrey has been exposed to two large but calm dogs and isn’t phased by them at all but of course introductions to new animals need to be taken slow.
Humphrey, like all kittens, is a social boy who thrives in the company of other animals and humans. Cats are naturally colony animals so company is important for them. He will need to go to a home with an existing cat or friendly dog, or a home where someone is home more often than not.
Humphrey is litter trained and located in foster care in Mayfield.
Humphrey will need to be adopted in the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast area so that he can be returned to one of our affiliate vets for desexing at 14 weeks old. Humphrey’s adoption fee is $250 which covers desexing, first vaccination and microchip.
