About Leo ~ 8mo Neo Mastiff(On Trial 9/6/21)
Say hello to Leo the Neo. A giant pawed, roly-poly 8mo Neapolitan Mastiff who currently weighs in at approx. 45kg. Leo is loving, friendly, playful and happy. He is just a pup but in a giant body. He loves his food, loves to play with other dogs, likes to go on walks and carry around his stuffed sloth - his favourite toy. Leo wants to be involved in everything you do - in the kitchen, the loungeroom, the yard, he's always eager to see what's going on and be part of the fun.
Leo is toilet trained, can use a large dog door, and knows basic commands and obedience. He would be a good pupil if further training was required, but as a placid dog, there isn't too much more he needs to learn.
Leo will let you know when someone's arrived at your house, and will be a little unsure of a stranger at first but is immediately loving once he realises its ok. He is great in crowds, loves pats from anyone, and is a lovely sociable fella at the dog park. He does enjoy playing with other dogs but this can be difficult for him to gauge due to his size.
This guy is only going to get bigger, and so needs someone confident to handle a very large dog. He may not know his size but he does know his weight. He is fine with small children but only under strict supervision as he is just a pup and can sometimes get excitable.
Leo would suit any house with decent fencing. He does like to have a little run around the yard from time to time but isn't too high energy. He would be suited to a home who understands that Leo could grow up to 90kg in size and therefore will require a substantial diet.
If you love big breeds and big cuddles, this is the boy for you. For more information on this absolutely sensational boy, please contact Hilary on hilary.leotta@live.com.au or you can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://form.jotform.co/82217742684866
Leo is currently in foster care in the Newcastle Region NSW. His adoption fee is $600 and includes desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments and microchipping.
