About Diesel
Diesel is a beautiful long stock coat boy whose owner is too sick to keep him. So he is now looking for a new home. He is a five year old who unfortunately has not had a lot of training but is food focused and can be trained easily.
Diesel has been well loved and so requires careful feeding to help reduce his weight. He is currently 40kg.
Diesel needs a calm home with someone who is experienced with the German Shepherd breed and understand their intelligence and are prepared to work with Diesel to bring out his true ability. He is very "clingy" so needs an owner that can handle this.
Due to his size Diesel needs a home without children, cats or small dogs. He is currently living in foster care with four other German Shepherds, so may be ok with an other German Shepherd.
Being a Long Coat Diesel would benefit from a weekly brush and grooming to maintain his stunning looks.
This boy has personality and will try you out.
If you think you can give Diesel a new home, please contact us.
Medical notes
Diesel is microchipped, vaccinated and desexed.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
