Well hello there!

My name is Rocky!

I have found myself at the shelter through no fault of my own, my old family just didn't have the time to care for me and I have spent the majority of my time before shelter in a back yard. However, I absolutely LOVE human company where pats are a must and one of my favorite things to do is hang in the office with shelter staff, play with my lick mat and snooze by their feet.

I will need indoor and outdoor access preferably in a home where I can sleep inside or to go to a home where someone is home a lot, maybe someone that works part time or from home, this would be perfect!

I will lean in on you for a scratch and like to give you my paw for more attention. I am a big goofy boy and can be strong on lead so for this reason I can not go home with children. You will need to have owned a large breed dog before so that you know how to handle my big boy goofiness, I am strong on lead but do walk much better on a front attach harness.

I must be you only do because although I can tolerate other dogs I haven't met too many and am not a massive dog fan. You will need to be willing to cross the road if you are walking me and we see another dog as this is what I prefer for a nice peaceful walk with my human.

If you would like to take me home with you I would absolutely love to meet you at the shelter so that I can get all the pats and hopefully a nice comfy spot to snooze.
