***SPECIAL NEEDS***
***If a full application is not completed, no contact will be made***
Hello, Im a young boy with special needs seeking a special family that is willing to put in some extra work to help me. My name means white dog.
When I was rescued, I had never worn a collar or been on a leash. I had never travelled in a car, only the dog transport trailer & that was very scary.
I also had not spent much time with people and didn't know how affectionate you humans can be, gladly I now know how nice it is to get pats & cuddles.
Im still very nervous around new things and can be shy or a bit jittery until I feel secure, so I prefer routine & structure to my life.
I was born deaf... however, my foster mum says I am very quick to learn new habits and new rules and behaviours.
I have learnt to walk on a leash, travel in the car and also I am now housetrained.
I only bark a little when startled or I see something new I don't understand.
I will need my new family to be involved in further training in using some signs so that I can understand commands because I cannot hear you & Im too young to guess what you want from me. Everything is new to me.
Another dog older than me in the house is a MUST for my confidence, me to learn new things from & to play with.
A hectic, boisterous house is not right for me but a family with mature age children and stability that will let me live inside with them and take me on routine outings is what I need.
So, if you are seeking a fairly quiet, chilled little man to add to your family & you have another fur friend and most importantly..you are prepared to do some training with me, put in an application via our website https://www.all4pawsdogrescue.com.au/dog-adoption-formexpression-of-interest.html
