About Zerba
Zerba is a real character who loves a pat and thinks that sneakers are kicker toys (he has a real shoe fetish!) He gets jealous when anyone else is getting attention and will push himself in to make sure the attention is all his! He's a playful boy as well and loves any toy you introduce to him.
Zerba is an ex-colony kitten from Morphett Vale. He was living with around 15 older cats and 10 or so kittens his age and younger. He's thrived in an indoor environment and loves his colony siblings.
Zerba has been:
- Untried with dogs
- Untried with children under 11 (we believe he will be best suited to a home with older children)
- Untried with cats outside of his colony siblings (with the right introductions we think he'll get along well with other cats).
Zerba is around 4 months old and his adoption fee of $150 includes:
- Desexing
- Microchip
- Vaccination
- Flea and worming treatments up to date of adoption
- Socialising
- Litter trained
- An adoption pack with some of his current wet and dry food, a carrier blanket, some toys and other goodies to get him started.
If you're interested in meeting Zerba, please contact us to book a meet and greet appointment.
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
