Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Stella - 7 month old (on trial 1/6/2021)
Can’t decide what colour cat you want? Why not get White, Black and Ginger rolled into one! Stella is around 7 months old and a true beauty. With calico fur that is ever so soft, and piercing round eyes.
She is an absolute snuggle pot, who loves cuddles and affection. So if you’re looking for someone to cosy up next to on the couch on the upcoming cold winter nights - Stella’s your girl. She’s a Velcro cat, always stuck to your side. With the gentlest nature.
Stella is also very playful, like most kittens are. But despite her high-society looks, she doesn’t have a taste for the finer things in life - No need to fork out money on expensive toys, a piece of string or blue plastic ring from the top of a milk bottle are more her style.
Stella previously lived with her sister, Lily (who is also available for adoption with DRN), so she should be ok with another cat, with proper introductions. All cats need some time to settle into a new home. Stella is still young, so with time she should adapt to a variety of households. However, first impressions are that doesn’t seem to be too keen on chaos. She enjoys a bit of zen (don’t we all) so a home with young dogs, small children, or regular band practice are a no no until she settles into a forever home.
Stella will be ready to go to her new home from Friday 5 June, after she has recovered from her desexing procedure. She is in foster care in Waratah West, near the University of Newcastle. Her adoption fee is $200 and this covers her desexing, microchipping and vaccination.
