About Dory
Bossy, loving and a sweetheart all rolled into one. Dory needs a family that will continue to guide her when being introduced to new things in her world.
In just a few weeks she has become the sweetest girl who quickly understands boundaries. From total over excitement when seeing dogs, people and cats to laying down sleeping with a family of dog’s and cats.
Dory greets everyone and everything with an excited over the top bark, there is no malice in this behaviour. She just doesn’t know any better! Her adopters must be confident to say no and continue to expose her to the things in life that excite her so it simply becomes part of her normal day.
While in foster carer Dory has already shown that she benefits from being around calm dogs. If her adoptive family had another dog that can be the kind of big brother/or sister we all need in our life, one that walks quietly past other people and dogs she would shine with progress.
Dory is A-DORA-ble, the family who adopts Dory must be committed to continued training but in return they will have a snuggle bug for the term of her natural life!

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1.) You see a dog you like.
2.) Fill in our online adoption form by emailing us on farmdogzrescueinc@gmail.com
3.) Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.
5.) If you are successfully shortlisted, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a time for you to meet the dog in question.
6.) A yard check will need to be conducted at your home.
7.) Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. 8.) The adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
9.) During the 2 week trial period, we encourage you to follow all our instructions to ensure the dog settles into your family structure
10.) If during the trail period you should need any assistance or you decide that this dog is not for you, you are encouraged to contact our state adoptions coordinator ASAP. (The more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available.)
Please note if the decision is made for you to return the dog your payment will be refunded to you in full, within 5 business days of the return of the dog.
**PLEASE NOTE: WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US BEFORE FILLING IN OUR ONLINE ADOPTION FORM**. Please email us on farmdogzrescueinc@gmail.com to request an adoption form.
We only consider applicants that have completed our adoption application form. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
